Making Connections

Hey guys, are you excited for class this year?  I am!  I know it was a little crazy with the classroom/hallway this week, but Genne moved some things around and we'll be downstairs in Core Room 2 from now on.  So that should work a little better than a pew in a hallway.

How's your garden plan coming?  Have you talked with your parents about what you want/need to do, and how to make it happen?  I'm excited to hear about all the things you plan to raise this year.  Today I harvested (well, truthfully, Adam pulled it out of the garden for me) the biggest carrot I've ever seen.  I think it was well over 2" in diameter at the widest point.  It's now in the crockpot for dinner tonight.  My kids and I have also put up about 50 qts and 9 pts of apple sauce so far (with more to come), and dehydrated quite a few, too.  What Georgic things have you done this week?  Did you make connections about them when you were writing in your Connections Journal (or diary, for David)?  I'm excited to hear about those on Thursday!

How did you enjoy putting your feet in the dirt/grass and communing with nature?  20 minutes, and then write about it.  More great connections?
